Shri. Vijaysinha Yadav Arts & Science College stands today as a symbol of academic excellence and quality education. Established in 1999 by the visionary leader Hon. Vijaysinha Yadav, the institution has consistently strived to transform lives through education, especially for students from rural backgrounds.

The Department of Physics, established in the academic year 2004–2005, has steadily grown into a dynamic and vibrant center of learning. Currently, the department is supported by a dedicated team of 4 permanent faculty members, Asso.Prof. Dr.Sandip. S. Patil, Prof.(Dr.) Sachin. J.Pawar, Mr. Avinash .K. Ladgaonkar, Mrs. Bhagyasree. A. Sutar. It offers undergraduate programs leading to the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree along with career-oriented courses in Physics.

The department adopts a student-centric approach by conducting regular tutorials, unit tests, and home assignments to strengthen conceptual understanding.
