The department of Botany was established in the year 2000-01, started functioning with enrollment of 40 students for the B. Sc. Course with single faculty. Now, the department progressed rapidly with increase in number of students as well as strength of faculties. At present, 130 students admitted for B. Sc. Course with one permanent faculty, three (03) full time faculties (Temporary) and 03 C.H.B. faculties, further there is a non-teaching/technical staff of two (02) members. During the academic year 2015-16 we started T. Y. B. Sc. Botany.
